Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Nearby Leonardo da Vinci museum, in a very traditional area, very quite, in a middle of vineyards, this hidden restaurant was a brilliant place full of flavor and good taste."
"This place is genuine Italian. Great food great view for almost no money. I'd go back as soon as there's a chance."
"Pretty nice though it took more than 40+ minutes for the steak to arrive"
"Incredible steak. Generous portions. Best meal we had in a 2 week holiday in Italy. Some may call the waiter gruff, but we found him professional and somehow "of the area" if that makes sense! Highly recommended!"
"If you want an origin italian place, this is the spot to go. The food is extraclass good. Try the bistecca di manzo! But never mind the waiters. They only speak italian and they take their time until you get served."
"Great food!!! Service OK. Ambience of Italy in the 90s. At 36 degrees the air conditioning is missing."
"Best food we had in our entire stay in Italy. Bruschetta are just divine. But everything else we tried was perfect. We definitely recommend this place."
"Great simple restaurant in an iconic italian town, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. Traditional Tuscan cuisine, great meat, good pizza, classic Tuscan appetizers. Personnel is very courteous, polite and friendly, as long as you behave accordingly. Prices are moderate and very reasonable, especially considering where you are. The small road to the restaurant is a postcard in itself. This is the classic Italian trattoria, so much loved by Italians. Great food"
